Dear players,

As many of you will no doubt be aware, Canaan Online has not seen a great amount of activity these past few weeks.

If you are playing other gPotato games, you might also be aware that recently, the gPotato team has undergone an internal restructuring in an effort to refocus and better utilise our resources. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a temporary decrease of the resources available for Canaan Online, leading to the aforementioned decrease in general activity. At the same time, we have experienced some unfortunate complications on the development side of the game.

We are working on resolving this situation, but for the immediate future, you will regrettably experience a diminished service in terms of customer service and general game operations (events, gachapons, etc.) and, unfortunately, we will no longer be able to offer any reimbursements for losses occurred by our players. We will reduce the number of ticket categories available for Canaan Online in order to accommodate the diminished customer service capabilities. Please make sure to thoroughly read the Canaan Online policies, FAQs and help topics, as you will find important information on and/or solutions to the most common issues and questions.

As a small compensation for the inconveniences caused by these circumstances, we will be offering all players of Canaan Online a free 30-day VIP card. The cards will be sent out via the mail system in game shortly. Additionally, we will be running “Monster Mania” (Saturdays, midnight to midnight) and “Double Drop” (Sundays, midnight to midnight) events over the coming weeks.

At the same time, we want to reassure you that this does in no way mean that Canaan Online will be shut down (now or in the foreseeable future) and that we remain committed to the game and its operation. In fact, a major update is being worked on and we will bring you more information as soon as we can.
