On Friday 12th March, monsters from the Swamp Maze launched an attack on Karugarner City! As soon as we heard about this, we passed on the news to you adventurers, and many of you bravely answered our call and helped defend the city from the vicious attack!

The spoils of battle were plentiful, with many adventurers receiving glorious rewards and levels.

We received a lot of feedback regarding this event, both positive and negative, and are taking it all on board for future events. Thank you all for participating and we hope you enjoyed yourselves!

The recent server maintenance took a lot longer than expected, and we are aware that many of you were waiting eagerly to play the game. We are confident that this was the last of the long maintenances, and future maintenance should take much less time to complete.

However, we are very delighted to announce that during the server maintenance we officially opened the Canaan Item Shop! We will be updating the shop regularly with new items for you to purchase. Stay tuned on our website for news regarding this!

In the meantime, you can access the Item Shop in-game by going to the Mall/Auction in the top-right of the screen and selecting the ‘Mall’ tab. If you have gPotato on your account, you will be able to purchase items from our Item Shop, including the famous VIP Card, and many other items to make your adventures more fun!

If you can't see the Mall tab in the Mall/Auction window, be sure to clear your cache and restart your browser.

We will be performing server maintenance tonight from 1:00am GMT 10th March.  We expect this maintenance to last until approximately 8am GMT. For the duration of the maintenance, the Canaan Online servers will be unavailable.

We are glad to announce that the Canaan Online servers are back online again! During the maintenance today we encountered a few technical issues which made the maintenance last longer than initially intended, due to this being our first full server maintenance.

 

During the maintenance, we improved server stability, and included a few new features.

•     Player ranking now displays on the front page of the website! This will show the highest level characters on the server. The ranking is updated every day at 2AM GMT.

•     To encourage users to use the World Chat channel as a place to make important announcements and to prevent chat flooding, there is now a small fee of 20 Copper to chat in World Chat. The other channels are unaffected by this.

 

As always, we would greatly appreciate any feedback you have regarding the new features, both positive and negative.
